The young generation of engineers and programmers visited TEMEX
Promoting education and motivating secondary school students to take an interest in technical fields goes hand in hand with TEMEX's goal of continuously enriching its team of experts with talented young colleagues.
In cooperation with the Secondary Industrial School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics in Moravská Ostrava and the Secondary Industrial School Ostrava - Vítkovice, we have prepared three excursions to our design office and production facilities for students.
Under the patronage of the Head of the Machine Design Department, Ing. Ondřej Bezděk, the students were able to take a peek into our automation "kitchen" and see for themselves how complex a discipline automation equipment manufacturing is. Thanks to the just-finished project of the Pick&Place packaging line of chocolate candies, the students were able to take a look under the hood of the entire project, from a preview of the detailed layout of the production line, through a presentation of the design work to practical demonstrations of fully functional equipment and parts of the entire production line.
"For most of these students it was the first opportunity to see modern automation technology in such detail and from such close proximity", stated the project leader, Ing. Ondřej Bezděk.
Nevertheless, the students' interest in the whole project and the excursion, as well as in many technical solutions and original ideas from the TEMEX designers' workshop, left a good impression on him.
"The students of these vocational schools are what we need in the future at TEMEX - inquisitive, interested in the field and technology, open to new ideas and challenges. If at least some of them continue to work in the field of production automation, it would be a great success for all of us and a benefit for the entire industry. Hopefully, the excursion at TEMEX contributed to this to a greater extent", concluded the visit of the students Ing. Bezděk.
